Every year around this time we ask parishioners to adopt an angel from the Angel Tree - a Christmas tree covered with the names of children whose families cannot afford to buy them gifts this year. These children of poor families in Blakely, GA and Madison, FL would not have a Christmas without our help.
How do I help?
The Angel Tree will be in the PLC lobby the first weekend of Advent, November 29th. After removing a child's name from the tree, please record the information requested in the book located next to the tree. Each "angel" will tell you the age and gender of the child and the gifts you are being asked to provide.
What do I do once I have the gifts?
Once you have the gifts, please wrap them and tape the angel securely to the package. When you come back for Mass on Saturday or Sunday, you can place it next to the tree in the PLC lobby. You can also bring it by the front office Mon - Thurs 8:30am - 3:30pm, and someone from staff will bring it over to the PLC for you. Please return all gifts by Monday, Dec. 14th.
What if I have more questions?
Feel free to call the front office at 850-678-7813 if you have any further questions!
