Being open to the Holy Spirit you can go deeper and grow stronger in an intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit through the gifts He wants to impart and magnify within you.  
“For I long to see you, that I may share with you some spiritual gifts so that you may be strengthen.”   -Romans 1:11
Following Jesus could be the best decision of the day, in the end you gave up nothing but your time, but received everything in the form of abundant blessings.
