What is Priscilla Circle?
Priscilla Circle is a women’s ministry run through our sister church, Christ Our Redeemer, that focuses on connecting moms to increase faith and fellowship. They meet to pray the rosary, have book studies, family events, monthly meetings, girls’ night out, bunco, play dates, and much more!
Children and women of all ages and stages are welcomed!
They support other women and new moms in various way, such as organizing baby blessings, fundraisers, Adoration swap, and meal trains.
One of their most attended yearly events is the Holy Smokes BBQ Competition, held at Christ Our Redeemer, in which they not only have fun and eat delicious food, but are also able to fundraise money for a cause!
“What a great favor God does to those He places in the company of good people!”
-St Teresa of Avila
Why the name Priscilla?
Priscilla, is the nickname for Prisca, as mentioned by Paul in a letter to the Romans: “Greet Prisca and Aquila, my co-workers in Christ Jesus, who risked their necks for my life, to whom not only I am grateful but also all the churches of the Gentiles; greet also the church at their house.” In the early Church, Jesus’s followers met in people’s homes. Like Prisca, we also host our meetings in our homes. And that’s why we chose the name Priscilla for our group.
Priscilla Circle membership is free and you can join at any time! For more information and latest happenings, go to our shared COR Priscilla Circle page on Facebook and Instagram @cor_priscilla_circle or contact our leaders:
